Danielle Murphy

Danielle Murphy is a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Animal Hospital Kilcoole

Hi there, my name is Danielle. 

I qualified with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Letterkenny Institute of Technology and became a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2015.

Since qualifying, I have practiced mainly among supporting the patients in companion animal hospital settings. 

I have a deep passion for supporting patients (and their humans!) when they are at some of the most challenging times of their lives, utilising my skills to assist in the care of patients who need regular, ongoing support, as well as critical and emergency patients. I am currently working towards a diploma in canine physical therapy so that I can help patients to overcome some of the other difficult hurdles they meet along the way.

My love for animals extends far beyond our beloved feline and canine babies, and I am always eager to dive right in to helping a patient in need, whatever shape they come in! 

I have one baby at home, a beautiful mixed breed boy named Toby. We have an incredible bond that allows us to enjoy practicing an expansive range of tricks to keep us both entertained and a good excuse for me to give Toby (perhaps too many) treats in exchange for his fabulous acting skills.
