Hello, I’m Gail.
I qualified from University College Dublin in 1999 and worked for a mixed practice in the West of Ireland for 18 months, before moving to the UK to focus on companion animal veterinary medicine and surgery.
In 2004 I returned to Ireland and continued my small animal focus in a general practice and an emergency clinic, before setting up Animal Hospital Kilcoole in 2009.
I enjoy the daily challenge inherent in modern veterinary practice and spending time with my patients. I love keeping up to date with developments in medicine and surgery, and in October 2013 I achieved an ESPVS post graduate certificate in small animal medicine.
My other special interests include small pets, exotics and dermatology.
To keep me occupied at home, I spend a lot of time mediating between my cats: Tommy and Steven.
